Foster’s Cup feat. ECWT Finals 2008 in Marburg/Germany
Magdeburg (Germany) grows up to the most spectacular hotspot in Germany.
Ladies and gentlemen – attention please:
European riders and top athletes from overseas will get Magdeburg’s watersports park and beachresort up to speed. From 30th till 31st August 2008 Cable Island will be the host of the top riders of the European Cable Wakeboard Tour 2008 and of the Foster’s Cup as well. Everybody is getting excited because a cashprize of about 27.000 $ is announced.
It will be one of the biggest wakeboarding events that will take place in this summer.
The famous ECWT-riders Rene Konrad from Germany would like to defend his first place in the Open Men Overall Standing. But his competitors never sleep! Jan Kerkhoven and Sjors van de Kerkhof from the Netherlands will be in hot pursuit of him.
Mayanka Jansen (NL) and Aurie Brabänder promise that they will show their best performance to achieve sustained success in their wakeboarding career.
It will be their last competition and their last proof of their skills before the Cable Wakeboard World Championships will take place in Anapa/Russia (4th – 7th September 2008). This year is the year of the biggest events that we have ever seen.
Cable Island expects the confirmation that the world’s wakeboarding elite will take part in the Foster’s Cup. Marc Shuster, Bernhard Hinterberger, Sam Collins, Donald Shelbrick, Kyle Reed and Matthew de Nittis suggested their participation. This riders-combination promises a hot competition!
But this great riders-lineup is not enough. Cable Island offers the most spectacular obstacle park in Germany! The brand-new Step-Down-Box and the S-Rail complete the ultimate wakeboardpark. 11 obstacles!!! You can’t believe and think it’s crazy?
