The initiation for this event is to collect the biggest sum of money, so we would be able to participate in good causes… for the first time we won’t watch for incomes, only will be searching for a good atmosphere to promote wakeboarding as a sport, brands and all of people who would like to join in the organization, that in the future we have more than one day of peace.

Rider rock Russia – Ski Rixen Vostok Cable Wakeboard World Championships 2008 in Anapa Toprider elect World Champions in Russia. Yes, it’s done – today the Best of the world’s best riders elected their World Champions within the categories Girls, Boys, Junior Ladies, Junior Men, Open Ladies, Open Men and Masters Men.

European riders and top athletes from overseas will get Magdeburg’s watersports park and beachresort up to speed. From 30th till 31st August 2008 Cable Island will be the host of the top riders of the European Cable Wakeboard Tour 2008 and of the Foster’s Cup as well. Everybody is getting excited because a cashprize of about 27.000 $ is announced.

At the 61st Congress meeting in Belgrade, Serbia,  the EAME Admincom announced to the congress that they had selected Nick Davies GBR as the EAME Male Athlete of the Year and Clementine Lucine FRA as the EAME Female Athlete of the Year.
